What to do, eat the cost of replacing it myself? 😕
 
Make the claim, then if they raise your rates, switch to another new company. I use American Family and have awesome ratse and service.
 
Generally a comprehensive claim like this won't hurt your insurance rates unless you are a chronic claimant (which I seem to be, through no fault of my own). Many states actually have no-fault glass-claim laws, since glass claims are almost invariably not the fault of the claimant.
