My 97 Accord had 270,000mi on it, so I decided to finally upgrade.
I have had it for 10 years.
I decided on a V6 because the gas mileage decrease and price upgrade was negligible. Plus, the test drives of the I4 and V6 were night and day.
New Accord: 271hp, 254tq
Old Accord: 130hp, 144tq
So far, I love it. The torque is amazing compared to my old Accord.
It corners really well and has a great solid feel to it.
It's an automatic, but it is very responsive.
It is really fun to drive.
To do:
- OEM Spoiler (to correct that horrible rounded trunk)
- K&N Typhoon or Takeda SRI (short ram intake) - not sure yet - they sound awesome
- Tinted Windows
- All weather mats
That should be it. I'm not much of a gear head. I like to keep things stock.
