I decided to buy a camera since I like to go outside a lot. I purchased the Konica Minolta Dimage Z3. I love it, the clarity and amount of options I have is great, best of all the 12x optical zoom is amazing.

Check out some of the test photos I've taken. I want to take a photography class so I can get better. I think in the future I won't be saving these as JPGs due to added noise.
 
I bought a new camera about a month ago, myself. A new Canon Rebel XT. After getting a second lens and a 1GB CF card for it, I'm loving it 🙂 I think I've shot more pics with it in the last month than I shot on my A80 in a year :Q

@NTB, I know what you mean, I've been taken a lot of pictures trying to learn all the tools it has. I purchased a 1GB stick too... 490 photos on Fine!
 
Wow! You could watch people sunbathing nude at their house with that zoom. I wanna get a big zoom camera. Does yours have image stabilization? Did you use a tripod?
 
It does have the image stabilization, which is why I purchased this model. I did not use a tripod for that shot.

I definately want that camera now. Or the Z5. Lets hope a summer job comes through.
 
Ross, I found out about them through a webhosting talk forum.

The zoom is great, I'm hoping to get some decent shots of animals with it.
