New camcorder :)

I just picked up a Sony TRV17 mini-DV camcorder. Let me tell you...I got a mad good deal. Mad good. Retailed close to $1000, Circuit City had the display model going for $540....it was missing the charger. I was like hey Eric(the manager), there is no power cord for that camcorder, ya know you can do better on that price right? He was like well, that is as low as the system will set it, but since its your last day, I'll give ya a deal....he dropped it down to $400 :Q And then the video sales counselor pulled off the power cord from the other open box Sony, cuz they had it on order, so when it comes in he will put it with that one. Wow...what a deal. Its charging up now...I can't wait to play with it

I agree with Ralli- being the entrepreneuring business student I am, I'd eBay that thing in a heartbeat and go out and buy another one.

lol, I'll find a use. It was funny...eric was like 'hmm...I see you are buying photo paper, and a camcorder, right before you leave for college and your coed dorm....let me give you my email address'

That's actually a really good idea...I wasn't going to buy one this good, I was looking something in the good Hi8 or lower end Sony digital8's, I could probably sell this, buy the cheaper one I was going to buy in the first place, and have a fistful of cash leftover.
