get a Gigabyte DS3, you'll get more help on the forum if you're having trouble with that board

It will be very hard for him to run his AM2 CPU with a 775 MB. :shocked:


Just use the onboard audio if you're thinking about the lowly Audigy SE.

Yeah, I was wondering if a sound card was worth it or not. I wasn't sure if I needed one, (I was going to see how things went with onboard audio before I bought the card.) that's why I posted everything here. I just need some confirmation before buying.

Oh yeah, and just so you know, I'm upgrading from a 2.8 Celeron, with integrated 64MB video and 256MB RAM. (don't laugh, it was free.)

How does everything else look?
