I recently put together a new system using ASRock motherboard model Alivenf6g-dvi,AMD anthlon 64 x2 4200 processor,pny nvidia Geforce 7300gt video card,wd250 sata3 hd,2 gig transend jetram ddr2 800 memory,samsung dvd burner.Everything seems to be ok until I enable AM2 boost in the bios then I get alot of crashes.Running winxp pro all updates applied.Anybody have any ideas has asrocks tech support rates a zero with me and this will probally be my last product from them.

I also had problems with the dual sata II. I had to flash back to an older bios version, and everything worked fine. Don't know about am2 boost.
 
What ps are you using? You may very well have exceeded its ability to supply and caused the instability. Do you have a digital multimeter that you can check the rails with?
