The budget here was $450 and the computer will be used mainly for web browsing, word processing, and similar tasks. The monitor will be provided and the motherboard has integrated video. What do you think about this build? Can you do better than this on a $450 budget?

I tried doing research on socket 754 microATX motherboards because I was bored. Anyway, I read some mobos don't like Semprons. So, you should check out the Gigabyte web site for that.
I also tried finding a replacement with a better brand name like Asus or Abit or MSI or DFI and at that price they're all a little crappy. Oh well. I didn't do any research on that Gigabyte though. Some people like Gigabyte as well, or Foxconn, Biostar, whatever...

Very nice for the budget, but I don't see a PSU. Do you already have one?

That case comes with an Antec SmartPower 350W PSU.

Wow, that's a damn good price then.
