I just built A7N8X-Deluxe, AMD 2500 Barton/w stock HSF, 9800 Pro AIW in an Antec Sonata case. Is there some kind of stability test it should put it through and any other things I haven't thought of?

Got your firewall and security patches? Always a good thing. Other than that, my vote goes to installing and playing your favorite games.

I always overclock mine as soon as it's built. I'm a strange cat though. I want my computer to be even faster than the current top-of-line stuff.

Aside from that, yeah get Norton Antivirus on there ASAP, along with all the MS patches like SP1 for XP so you don't get wormed like a dogg. My dog had worms once and it wasn't pretty. Oh and that "Melissa" girl who kept saying "I love you" over and over again.

But yeah, fire up some games on that puppy and let us know how they run. :beer:

Should I just use the temp monitoring app that came with the card or use something else? Also wondering about adding another fan.
