New build won't power on

So I just finished putting together a new HTPC system with an Ultra Microfly case w/ PSU, Abit NF-M2 nview motherboard, Sempron 3000+ cpu (AM2), and Patriot DDR2 1gb RAM.

I put everything together, turn it on, and it just shuts itself right back off (less than 1 second), so I unplug everything except the CPU, same thing. I tried the PSU from my other computer, same thing. I'm not exactly sure what could be wrong at this point other than perhaps the motherboard itself is bad? Anyone have some other ideas?

Thanks

I'd probably remove the motherboard from the case and then try powering it up again to see if it had been somehow shorting out against the mounting legs.

Good luck...

Tried that, still wouldn't power on for more than a second. Since nothing else is hooked up other than the CPU, I'm going to have to assume the board is bad so I'll just send it back for a replacement.

Ah well.
