New build won't power on

I just bought a MSI K8N Neo 2 Platinum, 3200+ 90nm, and 2x512 Mushkin RAM. I put everything together and when I pushed the power button nothing happened. I tried numerous configurations including just CPU, RAM, and video card with it out of the case for no chances of a short, and I never got a response. I have an Antec 830 case so I am worried that I am hooking the front panel wires incorrectly. Any ideas on what I can do to test to see what is wrong?

check the font panel wireing again, maybe reverse some of the plugs i mean jus turn 'em upsidedown, make sure the power supply is plugged into everything, make sure the power supply switch is on, make sure you have the power supply plugged into mobo... start there

Try booting it without the power headers.... use a flathead screwdriver to create a connection between the two power pins on the motherboard... hold it there for a sec and then take it off and the computer should boot.

If that doesn't work then you know the problem is with a hardware device or another connection. Start with another power supply, get a loaner from another computer or a friend.

those front connections can't be hooked up willy nilly check mb manual for orientation and config...make sure switch on back of power supply is on also assuming its an atx ps then it should have one. if its propriatery that may be your problem also. Did it come with the case am assuming it did? If its an older ps may not have the 12v plug the mb needs?

It is an Antec TruePower 380W, and I've been reading that the older ones have had a problem delivering enough amps on the 12V line for the MSI board. Anyone know anything else about this?
