Abit ip35 pro
q6600 go
corsair 520hx
corsair xms2 2x2gb
evga 9600 gt
antec 300

Nothing happens. The board gives a code 8.2. which apparantly is something related to the power supply.

Update: Checked the power supply by connecting just the fans and jumping the correct pins. The fans spun up.

It looks like I'm having the compatability issue that others are having with corsair psus and the abit ip35 boards. Any advise on what I need to do next?

Are you sure you have your CPU power leads hooked up? 4/8 pin from PSU to Mobo... Maybe upgrading your BIOS to the latest will help.

I don't know of the compatibility issue, but try and grab a different psu for the mean time, update the bios to the most recent, and play around with the apci, and other power configurations of the board.

checking resolutions others have found with the problem may be your best bet

::EDIT::
also make sure that you've connected the 20 pin and the 4pin (20+4), and as mentioned above, the other 4-pin connector. If your card needs the 6-pin pci-e connector, make sure it is in as well. if the board is the kind with an extra ide-type power connector, go ahead and plug that in too. try power cycling, playing with the reset jumpers too.

Thanks for the help guys. It turns out I had a 4 pin connector pluged into the 6 pin pcie power connector. I can get into the bios now.
