new build wont boot up...

i have power running to everything, i dont hear the hard drive spinning though, i have a asus a8n5x motherboard, fx 55 cpu, raid max 630 watt ps, i put everything together and when i power it up it doesnt boot up, nothing on the screen, no beep just all the fan going, help!!
 
I agree, but also remember to check that you ram and videocard is seated properly. i think it might be better if you use the onboard video port instead of a videocard. try reseating the ram just to be sure, check the locks
 
If everything is seated properly then reset CMOS and make sure you remove the battery for 30 seconds. If that doesn't work then either dead board or memory. Which isn't uncommon.
