I just put together a computer with the following parts:

Intel dual core
ECS nforce 570 mobo
1 gb kingston value ram
MSI X300SE
Rosewill case with 350w power supply

When I press the power button, the fans spin up normally but nothing appears on the monitor. I have tried with it in the case and sitting on a cardboard box. Also, no beeps from the case speaker. I have tried moving RAM, reseating vid card, no matter what I do, I just get "No signal" on the monitor (have tried 2 monitors).

HELP!!

UPDATE: I have exchanged the CPU and still nothing. Even with the CPU and/or RAM removed from the mobo, I still get NO BEEPS. Is it possible I have recieved 2 DOA mobo's in a row?

Rosewill case with 350w power supply

I believe the power supply is your problem here. It is not powerful enough for your system.

Well the X300SE says it only needs 350W, also I tried with nothing but the mobo, cpu, mem, and vid card plugged in (no drives, etc) and still nothing.

Have another video card you can throw in and try?

Sadly no.

Rosewill 350w power supply Does Not Equal a Antec 350w power supply.

Power supplies are not all created equal. The power supply you are using is a $5 piece of junk (no offense to you). It is not designed for what you are using it for. You need a quality power supply.

Point taken. I will try a PS w/ more juice before moving on the mobo, etc.

EDIT: Thermaltake 430w would do the trick right?

I tried without the RAM and again without either RAM or CPU, and no beeps whatsoever. (tried speaker plug both ways it can possibly go).
