I am building a new system. More than likely non-sli. I am considering these boards and want your input.

ASUS A8N-E
GA K8N ULTRA-9
MSI K8N NEO4 PLATINUM
DFI BOARD (NOT SURE WHICH ONE)

Breakdown:

-If you're overclocking get the DFI
-If you want the features get the MSI
-If you want stability, and a bit of overclocking get the A8N-E. But it has no firewire
-If you need firewire, and won't be doing that much overclocking get the Gigabyte.

Not sure what you want, but I recommend the A8N-E in this case, and get an Audigy2 (which comes with firewire).

Check out the ASUS P5P800. Socket 775 P4's; OC's ... Good, reasonably priced board. Dual Channel DDR; Sata or IDE; no Raid or Firewire; but a great OC'g utility.
