New Build - What a Mess

Just finished my first build and it looks like someone barfed spaghetti inside my case. Anyone have a pointer to a good primer on how to clean up the cabling in a case?

hehehe, I also have a Sonata II and it is also a mess . Not to mention I have a Sonic Tower in there, which doesn't help. What I did was to wrap electrical tape around all the cables from the PSU. I used black tape, so it looks pretty good. It's still much messier than my Sonata I was though. For me, it's the fact that the SATA power connectors are kinda short and that the IDE power connectors are all on only 2 lines that makes things difficult. Electrical tape over time will get all sticky and brittle....its a real pita to get off your cables at a later date..
even your cables will be sticky...
take the time a find a DYI site and get something besides common electrical tape to wrap your cables...

Good tip... I would recommend braided sleeving. I'm not too worried about the tape... I know it will be a PITA later, but it'll do for now!

If you try hard you can make a sonata look clean. This is as clean as I could get.

looks nice I seen a noticeable drop in my temps when I rewired my case. Just ran the cables threw the back of the case and ran them to the parts that I needed.

Looks good. Maybe I'll try a little harder and see what I can do. With the Sonic tower in there though, it's hard to do ANYTHING!!!
