Hi all-

System components:
GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-UD4P
AMD Phenom II X2 550
SAPPHIRE 100245L Radeon HD 4850 512MB
Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD6400AAKS 640GB 7200 RPM SATA
Antec EA-500 500W 80+ PSU
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel

I assembled the system and it ran without a hitch for two days. I didn't overclock anything or attempt to unlock the cores on my CPU, but I was checking temps anyway and they were pretty low. This morning I was web browsing and the screen went blank, but the system remained on (or at least the fans did). Now when I boot with everything plugged in I get no beeps, no display. The fans turn on and all of that, but no POST. LCD is verified to work (I'm using it now with a different system).

Things I have tried:
Cleared CMOS
Tried RAM sticks individually and in different slots
Reseated power connections, vid card, cpu, memory

It should be noted that when I remove the memory or vid card, I do hear the error code beeps that correspond with what's missing. With everything plugged in I do not, however.

Unfortunately I don't have another PCI-E or PCI vid card to swap in to see if that's the problem. Does anyone have a hunch on what might be the culprit?

Thanks in advance

Was able to borrow a friend's PCI-E card, and the computer worked again. I guess it's time to RMA the video card.
