New build, wanting to leave as small(ish) of a footprint as possible.

Been more than a few years since I've upgraded, so I'm wanting to bite the bullet and go from my 4670k to a 2600x,

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811353095

I want something like this case, but I don't see any microATX cases that support the X470 chipset. There's some mini-ITX x470 motherboards, but they're expensive.. plus I want to keep my options open in the future in case I want to add a video card.

Any smaller ATX cases that fit the the dimensions of the case above? 13.65" x 6.80" x 13.85"

or will I have to wait till some X470 MicroATX boards come out?

micro atx is a standard format.
Any micro atx compatable case will support a matx board unless its made by some random chinese company which name you can not pronounce without twisting your tongue or is a bitcoin miner format.

personally i think that case is hideous, but thats just me.

If i was gonna go case now, at minimum it would require tempered glass side panel.

But that is just me... :T

If you're saying there aren't any x470 mATX boards, you may be correct. I don't think they have any available right now. I'm not sure, but I don't think they made any x370 mATX board ether, although I do know they made a couple of mITX boards.

There were quite a few B350 mATX boards, and I would assume that there will be a number of B450 mATX boards as well. I think we are only a couple of weeks from seeing the B450 chipset boards come out, so you may just want to wait and go with a B450 chipset board.

If you are talking about the case itself. Any case that supports ATX will also support mATX.
