why such a frigging expensive mobo if you don't want top of the line ? You could get a decent one for half the price. And, if you look closely at your power supply, you can get a combo deal with it, paired with the graphics card, will save you some bucks. And personaly, I've found onboard sound to be pretty good, unless you got some kind of awesome audio system hooked onto your pc. And what do you need those 10krpm raptors for ? They are kinda noisy, or so I've read. You could get like 750gb for the same price, at 7200rpm. In raid 1 it will still be lightning fast.

Raptors are fine since you game a lot. You might need a bigger drive for storage though. I'm with Marc about the mobo though. Get a better power supply. Enermax, OCZ, FSP, PCP&P all make great ones.
You have picked two IDE burners. I hope you realize that those will take up the two available IDE ports on most new motherboards. So if you plan to add an IDE HDD, you're out of luck.
Gigabyte DS3 rev 3.3 is a great mobo for the price. If you are willing to spend that much on a mobo though, there are a lot better options.
BTW you don't have any RAM listed...

Just for the record, you might get more people reading, replying and leaving decent feedback if instead of just posting the links to the components, posting "brand name | model | version" underneath the links. For example, I'm not going to bother clicking each link to see each component and judge them when I'd much prefer to read your post and see what you're thinking of buying; odds are I'll just click motherboard, cpu, graphics card. Maybe RAM. Make it easier for us to see and you'll get more help.

On topic: Change the motherboard for something more cheap and cheerful like the Gigabyte DS3. Don't forget to actually purchase RAM.

I would get a diffrent motherboard, a ds3 would be nice or maybe a 650i or 680i board. The raptors are alot of money, I would just get one for you boot drive and then get a big second drive so you have the best of both worlds. probably want to go for a sata dvd burner too it makes cable management a little easier. Ive got that same x-fi card I use it for my 7.1 system and it works pretty well. I probably wouldnt bother with it though if you are just running a 2.1 or 2.0 system. Just use the extra money on better speakers or something else.
Is this computer strictly for gaming? or any other purposes?

Looks pretty bad overall. I'd recommend giving us a budget so we can configure a machine for you.
