Hi Everyone,

Yesterday, I put together the following new build...

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz 2 x 4MB L2 Cache LGA 775
GIGABYTE GA-P35C-DS3R LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard
2 x CORSAIR TWIN2X2048-8500C5D
eVGA NVIDIA GeForce 8600GTS 256MB GDDR3
Samsung SpinPoint HD501LJ 500GB
ASUS DRW-1814BLT (Black 18X DVD+R ?)
Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit (OEM)
22"w: LG Flatron L226WT/L226WTX/L226WTQ/L226WTY
CoolerMaster Black Wave Master (TAC-T01-EK)
CORSAIR CMPSU-520HX ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 520W Power Supply 100

Yesterday, everything ran fine, and I was able to power up the computer without a hitch.

Last night, I turned off the power supply, and when I turned it on again this morning, every LED connected to the case (the case HD LED and the LEDs of connected USB devices) began to flash off and on about once per second, as if the power was pulsing on and off. The power and reset buttons (which worked yesterday) no longer respond to being pressed.

Any ideas of what's going on and how I might be able to fix it?

Thanks for your help!

Hi,
Open up the computer, check that all the power cables have been connected properly.

Also, check the header cables haven't dislodged themselves.

Which psu are you using? the Corsair?
