Hi guys,
I just built a new PC:
MSI x99a sli plus
5820K
DDR4 32GB
Nvidia Quadro K2200
Samsung SM951 256 GB M.2

I installed Windows 10 PRO, and played with it for some hours with no problems.
Now I want to connect my old hard drives but I have this problem: after a few minutes into windows or even at boot, the PC freezes with machine_check_exception blue screen (I tried with a WD 1TB disk and with a Samsung 850 EVO 1TB, these drives connected to SATA 1 and SATA 2 ports).
When I detach all the drives apart of course the boot drive, the PC will start normally.
What could it be???

Thank you!
Matt

Start here:

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff559323(v=vs.85).aspx

I'm not 100% sure where to go with it from there, other than to ask you to try booting with only one drive or the other connected minus your SM951 (yes, I know, pita)

Well, thank you but I think it has to do with some UEFI setting.

Today I tried to switch cables, switch sata ports, I also connected a hard disk of my old PC...
The system begins to boot but then I have machine_check_exception.
I disconnected all drives but the new SSD (one SSD is M.2 boot disk, the other is SATA data disk) and I got into Windows, had the time to format the SSD data disk but then on the next boot I got the same problem. :$
