My build will be for light gaming like Wow and maybe some other games. Would also like to play with some video editing of home movies. Looking for it to last for 2 to 3 years before I need an upgrade. Would like to keep it under $700. I will not be over clocking.

Any opinions good or bad would be welcome:

Such an expensive motherboard for light gaming. You might as well get the Gigabyte EP45-DS3L for $89.99 after rebate or EP45-UD3R for $104.55 after rebate. Intel E8400 is good for gaming.

If you don't feel the 9800 is sufficient, you can get the ATI HD 4850 or something.

An E8400 could probably also suffice. Just make sure that PSU is going to be enough to run all your components. It doesn't hurt to have a little headroom.

Put the above comp together and I am getting a green line right down the middle of the screen that flashes for only a couple seconds at a time. Is it the video card or Monitor any help would be great

Do you have another monitor you can test with?

Or, if you take a screen capture does the green line show up?

OK my other monitor is just fine and the line does not show up on a screen capture. So is it safe to asssume it is the monitor?

Thanks
