Question New build: please advise if any issues

I need to upgrade a 10 year old sandybridge PC. I will keep the case (a silverstone FTO2 case but scrap almost everything else other than a couple of HDDs). My major requirement is being able to game at 1080p and potentially 1440p and being bootable from a NVME SSD. I don't want to have to upgrade again for another 5-10 years. I do some light statistical work on it but dont' need much computing power.

Budget right now is between 2-3 K but I would prefer closer to 2K.
I will not overclock
I have no brand preference
I'm not in a rush



Please let me know if you see any major errors.

Parts list looks good from here, do you already have the 3070 picked out? Or will you need to pay "scalper prices"? Considered a 6900XT?

Or wait for the non-K Alder Lake parts in Q1 2022.
