Parts I already have:

Thermaltake Tsunami Case

Tuniq Tower

Dell 2001FP 20" LCD (not widescreen)

WD Raptor 74GB hard drive

WD 250GB SATA hard drive.

New Parts:

eVGA 8800GTS $495.13

eVGA 680i mobo $277.32

E6400 $222.99

Parts I need:

RAM. 2 GB (2x1GB). Not sure what to go with?? Budget ~$250

Power Supply. 600 watt minimum. Modular would be nice. Probably won't do SLI anytime soon if ever. Budget $150. Hows this Silverstone 600 watt $143.93?

Note: All links are from newegg but if there are any other less expensive alternatives please let me know.
Could go with the 6600 but my plan is to move to Quad Core ~6 months or so down th eline when proces drop so I thought 6400 would do fine. Is it realistic to get ~3.2 GHz on air with 6400?

Silverstone is good, but for that price you could pick up a PSU with more amperage on the +12v, specs for the 8800gts wants 26amps (which is probably overkill)

You got a good start. All you need is a little adjusting and you got a terrific gaming machine.

For the PSU, look at the Corsair 520W. $119 at ZZF.

Crucial DDR2-667
G. Skill DDR2-800
Corsair 520W

520 would probably do fine but I found this 620 for a little over my budget.

As far as the RAM goes, I like Crucial but it's DDR2 667. Shouldn't I go for DDR2 800 for overclocking???
And G Skill is good but is there any DDR800 that is a bit less $$$?
