Building a computer for family member. Mainly use the computer for every day tasks, but also want to play games some times. Nothing to extreme though...

Here are the parts I chose.. Budget of about $1300 shipped. Must include everything..

AMD Phenom II X3 720 2.8GHz Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Black Processor
ASUS M4A79 Deluxe AM2+/AM2 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard (overkill, but I like Asus)
G.Skill 2 x 2GB DDR2 800
Logitech G5 7 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Laser Mouse - Retail
Saitek PZ30AU Black USB Wired Standard Eclipse Keyboard - Retail
Creative Inspire T10 speakers (2.0 only, dont have room for sub)
Corsair 450VX power Supply
SAPPHIRE 100265HDMI Radeon HD 4830 512MB 256-bit GDDR3
ASUS MK241H Black 24" 2ms HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor - wants big monitor.

Looks good. But maybe instead of Vista just use Windows 7 beta until it comes out later this year and then purchase that. And maybe instead of DDR2 800 how about 1066? Will you be helping to overclock?

Nooo overclocking. Needs to last 5 years or so and ya, no overclocking.

This is a computer I will put into operation, and hopefully never have to do anything to it for atleast a few years. I dont want to install windows 7 beta, have them install ALL there files, and then have to format in 6months.

Ordered so thanks all. Changed one thing...

Replaced Gskill 2x2GB DDR2 800 with G.SKILL PI Black 4GB (2x2GB) for the same price, was no brainer...
