Im building a new system and do not plan to overclock. I will mainly be doing a lot of photoshop and will also use this for gaming. I was wondering what you guys think about this setup so your opinions are greatly appreciated. Also This will be a first time build for me. My budget is 2000 USD.

Case: Antec P180

MB: ASUS A8N-E

CPU: AMD X2 4200+ Manchester

RAM: Corsair XMS 1GB (2x512)

PSU: PCP&C 510

Vid Card: eVGA Geforce 7800GT

Hard drive: Seagate 250gb / WD Raptor 74gb
 
Since you don't want to overclock, no changes other than deleting the Raptor. You will be better served by upgrading your processor, memory, or GPU than by keeping the Raptor.

Yep, the Raptor is a waste of money, it won't really give you any real world performance gains over say a 7200.8 Seagate drive. I think the Corsair XMS is overkill especially since you aren't overclocking!!! Go with some OCZ value and get yourself 2x1GB of it. I would also go with a diferent motherboard, but that is a personal preference.

I think with $2000 USD in your budget you could also step up to a 4400+ and a 7800GTX both of those will be worth it also!!!!
