New build- No worky

Hi,

Just got done with a new build and after I finished I tuned on the rig to see if it would POST. It did in fact POST, but I got a message that no hard drive was detected.

I am using an Asus P6X58D with an OCZ Vertex 2 SSD. I am at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My BIOS is 703, and I have selected AHCI mode in all the BIOS settings.

My new problem is that I can't install Win 7 x64. I have the correct Boot Priority in BIOS, but I keep getting a message that reads: CD-ROM Boot Priority.. Boot Ready. Nothing happens and then it reads: Reboot and select proper boot device...

Any suggestions?

Here are my specs:
Asus P6X58D
Corsair Dominator 6GB 1600
EVGA GTX 460
OCZ Vertex 2 100GB

So you're sure that BIOS supports that drive?

Can you load drivers for the SSD somehow before installation? I remember this used to be a problem for SATA early adopters...

Not sure how to update the firmware to my SSD if I can't install windows 7. Any suggestions?

Also, any ideas of why Windows will not load?
