It all started with my daughter wanting the Antec P182 SE (mirrored) case. Never again will I try to fit an SLI system into a mid-tower case. I have spent many hours with cable management and have everything set up right. I go to turn on the power and dead silence.
The PSU doesn't even turn on! :disgust:
I thought this Thermaltake 850W PSU was enough for 2 8800GT(s), 2 HDs, 1 DVD, 1 floppy, 8 GB memory with an ASUS P5N32-E mobo. I also found a deal on a Q6700 quad core. I put a fat Zalman cooler on top.
I'll be very reluctant to swap out supplies due to all of the work so far. The supply is modular but access to cable insertion is difficult. I suppose I could return the supply to the store if I absolutely had to.
The SLI bridge is installed. If there is anything else possibly wrong with this I'd like to hear it. I've checked all electrical connections to the PSU as well. That includes being plugged in.
I feel like I'm having more difficulty getting this build done than Dr Frankenstein did with his project. Yes, I have had to use my dremel too.

Please give me the news (bad or good) because my daughter starts school next week.
