New Build - No juice! Help

I just put together a system in an Antec NSK 4400 case consisting of an Athlon 64 x2 with an Asrock 939 Dual Sata board. When I go to power up the Cpu fan spins for about 1 second and thats it. Nothing. I have checked connections and I don't know what to try next. Any suggestions please, going crazy. The fact that the cpu fan spins for a second means that my power on motherboard to case hook up is right? At first I thought I just had those LED plugs in wrong but now I have no clue.

Thanks All

Wiring the leds backwards will not cause the problem (they just won't light up). Wiring the front usb wrong may be the problem. Otherwise, it sounds like a short somewhere. You did, of course, try the basic setup on the bench first didn't you?

Make sure to review the motherboard documentation about the ram positioning. If you don't have it in the right slot/slots, it could cause the ram to go slower or the machine not to run (happened on my first build a few years back).

The fact that the cpu fan spins for a second means that my power on motherboard to case hook up is right? ...NOOOOOOOOOO!! In fact it doesnt even mean that you dont have a faulty Power Supply!!
