New build, lower-than-expected SSD perf

Just build i5-4670k (no current overclock...getting everything stable), GA-Z87X-D3H mobo, 16gb ram, GTx770 SLI, Hyperx 240gb SSD, Windows 8.1 Pro.

Everything is set up and running however my SSD seems to be coming in lower on write performance vs. other, similarly-configured benchmarks in review (i.e. i5, 16gb ram, same SSD, etc). I have SSD on SATA 0, hybrid drive on SATA 1, and dvd on SATA 3.

Here's my AS SSD numbers:

and here's an AS SSD benchmark from a similar setup:

Biggest difference I can tell between the two is the offset alignment in mine is 359424 K and in the review setup it is 1024 K. I believe this is setup from the 350mb Windows 8 reserved on installation.

If it's okay, what could be driving the lower-than-expected write performance? Any optimizations or tweaks I can do to get better write performance? All my google-fu has turned up is everything points to Windows 8 already does these by default.

Thanks in advance.

Your firmware is newer. Only 4k writes is half, everything else is ok. I'd usually not worry but I'd usually to boot Win 8.1 into Safe Mode and bench. I know they took away the F8 on startup but you can get there through the charms.
