New build, is PSU good enough?

Thanks in advance.

Just built a new computer, and it is running great. I had some quick questions about my power supply.

Components:
CPU: i5 2500k with a coolermaster hyper 212 plus heat sink
GPU: Sapphire Raedon 6950
memory: 8 gb of Gskill 1600 RAM
SSD : OCZ vertex 3
HDD : 3 TB WD green 5400 rpm
MB: basic Gigabyte Z68 type MB (can't remember which)
DVD ROM
PSU: Corsair vx550w

I want to eventually:
1) try to unlock the 6950 to a 6970
2) do a "modest" overclock of the i5 2500k
3) add a couple more "green" type HDD's

Do you think the Corsair vx550 watt is enough to handle these goals?

Thanks!

Just ran a calculator on http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine

With all the upgrades I plan other than converting to 6970 (leaving the GPU as 6950), the recommended wattage was 393 , when I substituted to a 6970, it said 478!

Is it really take an extra 80'ish watts to run a 6970 over a 6950?

Even with all 3, if the recommended is 478, I should still be good with a reputable 550.

Do people trust these calculators pretty well?
