time to rebuild my pc
will be buying during the silly season sales
mostly steam games, some eve online thrown in
dual 1080p, possibly going tripple monitors(after i get a new desk)

Motherboard: Gigabyte - X470 AORUS GAMING 5 WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill -32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3000 Memory (maybe 3200/3400)
Video Card: Vega 56
Case: Cooler Master - MasterCase H500 ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: SeaSonic - FOCUS Plus Platinum 850W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

already have:
Operating System: Microsoft - Windows 10 Pro OEM 64-bit
Storage: Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive(maybe change to a 1gb m.2)
Storage: Seagate - FireCuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive

Looks like a good build. If anything the PSU is way overkill, but not exactly a huge issue. 32GB RAM is a lot for a gaming system, especially considering current RAM prices. Make sure you remember to get the AM4 edition of the NH-D15.

the 2700x has higher standard clock speed, and is not that much more, $30 iirc

i like the silence of the noctua, i can run it at a lower speed and still maintain the temp

i was debating 16gb vs 32gb. just landed on 32.

i think noctua also brought out some new things at computex , but they are not released yet

I believe Noctua only released new fan this year, the NF-A12x25. Nothing new on HSF front as far as I know.
