New Build in the Works

Will have around 2k at most to spend in 2 weeks or so... Looking for a good gaming system that will be able to compete and be minorly updated (IE dont wanna max out a cheap MB).

Any Alterations you would have me look at pls suggest below and if by chance you could maybe a link to review ( just being lazy =P..)

forgot to mention the graphics card will be run in SLI ... i have identical card sitting in my current system

I have a couple of suggestions
1. Q6600 will be dropping to around $250 or so in July, it may be worth waiting to go for a quad core.
2. You can get an 8800gts 640 for around $300 after rebates, it will perform better then your 8600gts's in sli
3. Get a power supply from a name brand (seasonic, pc power and cooling, enermax, corsair).
4. You might want to consider a different hsf, especially if you wait for a quad core.
5. You can get pretty good deals on 2x2gb kits now (timings will be a little worse but you will have room for upgrading)

unfort im impatient so q4 will not be an option (until upgrading in the future) but by then the 1333s should be out anyways ... i did take ur advice on the 8800 GTS, power supply, hsf (switched do to a list in pkme2's pm he send me) and the memory (which actually saved some money)
