Just to mention, but on that board, what are you adding to it that it doesnt already have??? I mean onboard SB HD Sound with Optical Out, Dual Gigabit NICs, DUAL SATA RAID cards, 3 Addon PCI slots, etc... That board has it all, and still room for 3 PCI items. 4 PCI items? Truthfully the extra SLI slot is probably more worthy of being there. SLI is not necessary and quite expensive to go through the trouble, but leaving the option available is worth more than not haing the option at all. The difference in price really isnt a big deal and with $25.00 mail in rebate till the end of August at qualified online sellers, the deal is that much sweeter...
I say stick with the SLI just in case for the future if you dont plan on adding 4 PCI cards of whatever reason. Who knows, down the line you might just fall headfirst into a cheap 6600GT and up the ante...
