New Build, How'd I do? (and a question)

Thought I'd stop over here and get some thoughts on my new build. My previous build was an Opteron 170 @ 2.7 on a Sli-DR Expert, 2x 7800GT's, etc.. so I"m pretty familiar with OC'ing, but new to these boards. Its kinda sad that my Opty system is still screaming fast compared to anything my friends have, but with games like crysis bringing the system to its knees I decided its time for a new build. Its been a while since I owned an intel processor, but these E8400's just seem to be beastly and had to give one a shot.

Here is what I've already picked up:

CPU: Intel E8400
CPU Cooler: Xigmatek HDT-S1283
Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L
Memory: 4gb (4x1gb) Kingston HyperX DDR2 1066 (PC8500)
HD: Seagate Barracuda 250gb
GPU: EVGA Geforce 8800GTS (G92)
DVD/CD: Lite-on 16x DVD-R
OS: Vista Home Premium (32)e

As you can see I've not selected a case or PSU, which is part of the reason why I came here. I have a few picked out, but am open to suggestions. For cases; the Thermaltake Armor, Antec 900, or Antec P192 stand out, but I'm concerned with the height clearance of the Xigmatek... so any suggestions for a case around 100-150$ that would suit me better would be appreciated. As for PSU's, I prefer modulars to avoid the cable jungle, so something like a neopower 650 or Thermaltake Toughpower 650 look good, but again any suggestions for a modular psu around 100-150 to power the above is again welcomed and appreciated.

No point in getting feedback after you've bought.

And if you're worried about the length of the main power cord you can always get a 24-pin power cord extender for a few $.

You mean p182 ? The xigmatek should easily fit in all three cases. I love the p182, but the Antec 900 will cool better but it's a little louder too. Here's a modular PSU: http://www.buy.com/prod/corsai...loc/101/203270716.html Has al the power you need.

Let us know how your overclocking went, oc-ing the e8400 with 4 sticks of ram might cause you to run into some problems. 4x1gb causes more stress on the NB then 2x2gb.

Ya meant p182, built my friends system in one and it just seemed like a real solid case, not as great as my Lian-Li, but also not as expensive... I honestly thought about getting only 2 sticks of 2gig instead but I thought the larger capacity sticks would be stressed more by oc'ing than the single sticks of smaller capacity, should have asked before hand but I will probably only try pushing it to 3.8-4 max, I think that is pretty safe ground but we will see.
