Yeah, I would probably avoid Cougar PSUs as well. Luckily, there are really good deals around.

CPU: Good
Mobo: Would probably go Z68 for not too much more. For example, ASRock Z68 Pro3
GPU: The 550 Ti is kind of weak for a gaming GPU. A 6870 for $170 AR would do a lot better.
Case: Good
HDD : Samsung F3 1TB
PSU: The Antec Neo ECO 620C is a steal for $40 AR AP.

As for monitor, ASUS screens are usually good and this 23" VH232H can be had for $155 AR.

Change your RAM to DDR3 1333mhz CL9 1.5v. I recommend going with "value" RAM as it is cheaper and is the same thing as the regular product (the ripjaws are nice but get them without heatspreaders for less) you only need a 400-500w PSU so lower that down to save you money.

You are at $1015 now, so take what you have above and make the following changes:
- Swap the 912 to the Three Hundred Illusion -$5 and save on shipping
- Swap the PSU to the 430CX -$25 (plus $20 more AR)
- Swap the RAM to this G.Skill DDR3 1333 4GB -$13

Yes but even if you dont OC now it can add a year or so of life to your CPU later, leave it at stock settings and then in a year or two or three even OC to 4.4Ghz (which only needs a 20-30 cooler)

No there wouldnt be a point, the only reason to SLI or crossfire is if you cant get enough power out of ONE card, so two GTX 570's or 580's because ONE single card wont be able to give you the power of those, however there wouldnt be a point of doing SLI 460's or w/e because a single 580 is about as powerful (give or take a 10&#37

That all looks good to me except that you have no PSU. This 500CX would be more than sufficient. Normally I would recommend Z68 mobo, but you are getting a good price on the P67.
