Well im building a PC for university which will be used primarily for gaming.
I have a budget of around 1700 dollars, and ill be buying the PC in the US. Also i don't plan on overclocking this computer, i will be running at default speeds.
Ill be buying this computer late july or early august.

What i have at the moment is the following

I would suggest to wait on the graphics card, and for the psu you can probably get a more updated one for a similar price (i have the 600w version of that psu, its been really good for me, but i think theres better options out there at this time). Everything else looks really good though.

things i'd change to:

-WD 640gb HDD
-G. Skill DDR2 1000
-Corsair 620HX
-p35/x48 motherboard
-wait for the new video cards and buy the best value one from ATI or NVIDIA

The bottom line is that nailing down specific parts for a build happening at least a month away is not the best plan. Keep tabs on similar threads, read the reviews/articles at Anandtech and other sites, and start a new thread in late July.
