Your RAM choice, imho, stinks. I would look into the Corsair XMS series for better RAM, like DDR2-800.

Also, while your PSU can handle the X1950XT, you would be better off with a better PSU. Try taking a look at Seagate or Enermax.

go with E6300 for $180, Asus A5B mobo for $120, patriot/g skill DDR-800 RAM for around $210, and enhance 400 watt psu from ewiz for $56, antec P180 from outpost for $70. Don't go with Zalman for now. just go with stock cooling and save money.

TRUST me on the motherboard. NEVER i mean NEVER get that POS ECS crap. GOD I hate that piece of #$#@.

I had to DOA 3 times on that mobo b/c it wouldn't post + they have THE WORST customer support ever! I had to pay $56 shipping to get the replacement motherboard. WHAT THE %##!!!

For around same budget, you'll be better off getting those name brands than the ones you listed.

That is a much better rig that AznSensation recommends than the one you have posted. Couple of things though. Only get the E6300 if you are planning on over clocking. If your not going to overclock, then get the higher rated E6400. Also, get a better case than the P180, and if you are planning on overclocking get the Zalman.
