New build for friend

I don't really need advice, just posting the build i am considering for a friend:

Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R $155
Intel Core 2 Duo e4300 (i have a spare lying around)
ASUS EAH2900XT G HTVDI 512M 1.65GHZ DDR3 512BIT PCI-E HDTV (EAH2900XT/HTVDI/512M) $440
Mushkin XP2-6400 4-5-4-11 $116
Corsair 520HX $113
Pioneer DVR 212-D $39
Seagate 7200.10 320GB $83

Not sure on case or monitor... probably going with a 24" monitor, BenQ or Dell... Primarily a gaming machine, not a high end one... Don't bother suggesting the 8800GTS 640mb...

What is the point of this thread then?
Why a $440 video card if its not a high end gaming machine?

2900xt isn't the highest end card out there...

People can leave advice if they want...

The point of the thread is to show people the parts i am using, maybe it will help someone in picking out their parts
