Ok here is what we have so far, I would like to get a mild overclock out of the deal so keep that in mind. Also he picked out the processor so I'm not going to change that. He's in college and will be using it for normal school stuff, movies music and games.

E6400
GA-965P-DS3
Tuniq Tower 120
Corsair 520W PSU
Lite on 20X DVD burner
Vista Home premium 32bit

He has these he is going to recycle, please don't comment on the GPU he already purchased this a while back
6600 PCI-E graphics card
Seagate 7200.10 400GB drive

What memory should I pair up with the DS3? I have had good luck with the Team extreeme TXDD2048M800HC4DC

Is there anything out there that would work better with this board or provide a good overclock for less? I know newegg is out of the Buffalo Firestix at this time.

Also other than the Antec 500 and P180 what are some decent cases for around $100. Anything from Lian Li?

I see alot of people grabbing G skill ram at newegg for that board. I have a Thermaltake Tsunami case thats nice and cool and roomy. They go for around a hundred bucks now.
