So I'm looking at a new build. Primarily for 3D work (and a small amount of gaming). Mainly: Maya, ZBrush, After Effects, Photoshop, Mudbox, etc. And a generalist kind of pipeline too, not specific on just one thing like modeling, for example.

CPU: Intel Core i7-6800K
- Microcenter $414 w/ tax, and has $30 off with combo motherboard purchase in addition to this. Seems like cheapest way to get more cores, along with high RAM (and not suffer in single threaded performance too much with a dual Xeon build)

CPU COOLER: Noctua NH-D9L
- I've usually gone with cheaper Cooler Masters in my day, but I might be into OC'ing a little bit to bring up the single threaded performance

MB: MSI X99A Raider
- Microcenter $176 w/ tax currently, upgrade-able RAM to 128 is desirable. Or ASRock X99 Extreme4/3.1?

GPU: GTX Titan X 12GB
- Used, price-range of the GTX 1080 if possible? The thinking is more RAM and CUDA for heavy 3D scenes and AE use, instead of getting a 1080.

RAM: Crucial 64GB (4x16GB) DDR4-2133
- Tends to be $200-220ish I think, cheap high amount of DDR4

SSD : Samsung 950 Pro 256GB
Samsung 850 Evo 1TB
- Speeds not only in general but with large data sets. MLC.

PSU: SeaSonic M12II 850W
- Mainly looked for Corsair, EVGA, or SeaSonic and modular and some degree of efficiency. Wattage seems a little overkill, but seems like I'm hitting the $100 plateau either way, for the features desired. And guess its good since I could be adding on 1-2 HDD's too.

CASE: Corsair Vengeance
- Or Corsair Carbide Series Black 300R Windowed or C70 NZXT Source 220 CA-SO220-01? Mainly looking for airflow potential and nice quality.

This seems to be about $2100-2200, in that area. Curious to hear any advice/suggestions!
