hi, i regret buying it already, but... heres what i got

evga 680i mobo
c2d e6750 cpu
2x1gb kingston hyperx Cl4 pc6400
500w antec neoHE psu
evga 8800gts 320mb

i took out everything and just left the CPU, mobo and Ram in
turned on, and the post code LED stays at "--" and the system turns itself off 15 seconds or so later...

Only sign of life is that a couple of leds on mobo light up, (and fans, if connected, spin) and the CPU does get hot.

Have i just got a bad mobo:? I uhh bought it off ebay  and seller claimed tested guarunteed not dead on arrival (of course, however may have been damaged in transit or by my dodgy installation skills) so i dunno.

any tips ??:(

the only other thing i can think of is the mobo not support the g0 processors out of the box>?

It wasn't clear in your post, did you take the MB out of the case? If so, did you try it with just one stick of ram? Do you have the stock heatsink or other installed?

yup i took it out of case, and tried with 1 stick of ram --with hs, first, i tried with scythe ninja (which may well have damaged it as the mounting is horrible) but then swapped it for the stock hs

its just the turning self off after 15 seconds that i dont get - i thoght that might help pinpoint the problem.
