New Build & Clean OS Install

I am starting a new build today, which will of course require a clean install of WIN XP. I just realized this morning that I am using a wireless USB mouse and keyboard combination.

When I start my computer for the first time and enter the bios, will my system recognize the keyboard and mouse...or am I going to have to scrounge up a legacy wired mouse and keyboard for the installation process?
 
Depends on the board and if it has usb support for mice and keyboard turned on by default in the bios. On both of my latest builds, Gigabyte G1975X and an MSI K8N Diamond Plus, I used a bluetooth keyboard and mouse for the entire build from start to finish.
