New Build... Can't Get Sound...

Hey everyone I just built a new system running the Epox 9npa-Ultra running Windows XP and I am trying to use the on board audio. I just tried reinstalling the audio drivers found on the Epox website (Audio_Realtek-AC65x-850_3.74_all.zip) (be found: http://www.epox.com.tw/eng/support.php?ps=394&type=2) and still am not showing an audio device hooked up but I do here system sounds. Can anyone help me with what could possibly be going wrong? Am I missing something simple??
