1. What YOUR PC will be used for.
This pc will be used for office use and gaming. I am looking to play fallout, crysis, oblivion, startcraft II, and the old republic game when that comes out.

2. What YOUR budget is.
<800 but less is always better

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
U.S.

4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc. No

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are. None

6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
Yes

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
Overclocking

8. What resolution YOU plan on gaming with.
1920x1080 (as long as the fps is okay)

9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Now

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CPU-
AMD Phenom II X2 550 $95
MB- GIGABYTE GA-MA790XT$102
RAM- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820211409 $99
Graphics- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102824&cm_mmc=LMCDBanner-_-CPC-_-NA-_-NA $93

Hard Drive- WD Black 500 gb $69
Random Sata Drive- $27
Heatsink- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185096 $30
Power Supply- OCZ OCZ600MXSP ModXStream Pro 600 Watt $55
Case- Antec 300 $60

Total: Around 630
Main Concerns:
1) I think I picked out the best motherboard for my needs (good overclocker, acc enabled), but did I make the right choice?
2) I have no clue what video card to buy. 150$ is my budget. Preferably, I would like a card that is quiet (or as quiet as these cards can get). Also, a cheaper card that could overclock higher would be fine with me.
3) I have a 400 watt OCZ power supply I am not using right now. Would I be wrong to assume that it is not enough to power this system?

4850 is good, but it's getting old.. If you can afford a 5770, go for that.

The old PSU you want to re-use: It depends on how much amps it has. You listed that you want to overclock, 400 watts probably wouldn't be enough to do any intense overclocking.
