My first post disappeared so I apologise if this is repeated

I am about to purchase this mobo and would like to check that the rest of my spec is sound as well as ask a few questions

My spec is as follows

MSI K8NGM2-FID, nForce430+GeForce 6150 m-ATX
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Venice 90nm

Samsung SpinPoint P SP2504C 250GB SATA-II 8MB Cache
BenQ DW1655 16x16 DVD±RW Dual Layer LightScribe ReWriter

My questions are
Has anyone had problems with XP recognising the SATA II HDD in particular the Samsung
How long should be the SATA II cable I get
Is the Corsair the best choice
