ok so I just finished some upgrades etc

Current BUild Sable Qx9650 Stable on Air @ 3.83 (can hit 4.07 but temps peak over 60) Will learn how to do a water cooling system one of these days.

3x BFG OC GTX 280 Cards Tri SLi 695/1220/

4 GB Corsair XMS3 @ 7-7-7-20 1T

Case is Antec 1200

So I'm now looking at upgrading Ram -F'in PC2000 Corsair is a rippoff! so looking for 2x2GB sticks that can run 2000mhz linked with qx9650/Asus S2E

I have 4x 7.2k 320Gb barracuda's in raid 0 I swear it feels like it might be slower then my single 10k Raptor - Go with SSD's in raid 0? (link what you like) or upgrade to a few new Raptors?

What other goodies should i look at? (although I seem to be running low on space )

I'd let your temps break 60C and not worry about it, or try for ~4000-4200mhz when you get your water cooling setup. The 790i ultra is a great board for tri-sli too. Maybe x-25 or v-raptor raid? I don't see how you would get any more FPS in games with any type of upgrade other than i7 965 XE / X58.

Oh, BTW, welcome back to the forums, and let me complement that sweet rig of yours. You are in the league with Jag87, apoppin, and Steelsix's rigs.

I just got 4.17 Stable 9x 1750FSB Unlinked Memory 9-9-9 24 2T @ 1600
scored just shy of 30k in Vantage (my personal best)

Yah Im kinda looking at the x-25e now 2x in raid 0 is 1500+ I'm wondering how 4x Vraptors would stack up vs 2x x-25e? other then drives I'm just looking to maybe upgrade the ram pc 2000+ and maybe water cooling (so very confusing everytime I try to read about water cooling and think i have it I go to order and decide i have no idea how many of what i need :)

Well hope you're playing some FARCRY 2 on that system. I'm running it at "low" everything 640x480 w/ 4xAA on my 8400GS laptop... about 40fps avg. Even the lowest quality settings after a while start to look amazing to me.

I can't imagine All settings maxed 1920 x 1200 Ultra Quality 4xAA ... or even 2560 8xAA - hahahah

I don't know if I'm nuts or what I loved first Farcry but Farcry 2 just does not seem anything like Farcry seems more like some mix of RPG and FPS haven't been able to get into it too much. Now Crysis looks hot!

oh man, I'm loving FARCRY 2. I like it better than crysis. It has the fun-factor that just wasn't in crysis to me. I loved crysis and anxiously awaited it but found myself just staring at the texture detail on the lieutenants paratrooper gear and shit like that.

COD4 has an amazing fun-factor & playability in the single player campaign. I'm finding this in farcry2 as well, plus some neat extras. Let me just say if you don't make it to your first battle in one of the large campgrounds, you haven't seen the game in all it's glory. Or going to the petroleum field with grenades & rpgs and blowing everything up...

it's a great game, IMO>

heheh, i know what you mean bout oops OC crashes. my card can take exactly 579mhz core / 679 mem in FARCRY2. 580mhz and it freezes on loading games... DoomIII and COD4 i run at 593 core / 790 mem all day.
