New build, 800XL or 800GTO2 and mod?

Doing a new build for a friend of mine in unviersity. He will be doing video editing, as well as gaming on it. Was wondering if a modded GTO2 is reliable enough to do Video editing on?

GTO2 would be fine. When you mod it, you aren't increasing the clock or mem speeds. If you want it to be cooler, simply don't push it as much.

When he wants to game he could load a more aggresive profile in ATItool.

But it is getting harder to fine these at cheaper prices. (in stock)

get the XL it works, you know it works and its covered under warranty.
you should only mod/OC stuff for yourself and not for stuff you build for others.
