This is my upgradable but budget pc

HD-HITACHI Deskstar 7K80 80GB 7200 RPM SATA II

MB:GIGABYTE NVIDIA GeForce 6100
GPU:Geforce 6100
Case: Old one-psu $300

Or should i keep this
AMD Athlon xp: 2600+
Gpu:geforce 4 mx inter.
HD:Ultra ATA 120gb
Memory: 512 mb 2700 ddr sdram
HP Case

I have $220.
I'm thinking of a geforce 6800 gt

I like to play games and oc. See thats the thing. I will have to wait to do anything decent.
Maybe i should buy a portable or console?
But ....

Keep your GeForce 4 MX, 512MB PC2700 & 120 GB hard disk. Sell off your motherboard/PSU/case/OS as a barebone. Sell off your XP 2600+, too. Hopefully that will get you another $100 or so, leaving you with $320 to upgrade. Get an Epox EP-9NPAJ and Athlon 64 3200+, a new case, PSU, and a used copy of Win XP. If you can afford it, get Win XP x64 Pro.

Down the line, you can replace your GPU & RAM.

OR you can get the Asrock mobo and keep your gf4 MX, the ram and hard-drive. A athlon64 3000+ venice and Asrock can add up to be like 200 bucks(excluding shipping). It would add up to be like 215-220 with shipping if you buy it from newegg. You can upgrade to pci-e later on and perhaps get the new AM2 cpu too when it comes out. I think asrock is releasing something you can put on the asrock cpu slot so the AM2 cpu fits on. The only problem is that I don't think the asrock has many over-clocking options.
