And the US and the rest of the western world buy oil from Middle Eastern dictatorships who oppressed their women, still practice a form of slavery, and possibly funneling some monies into terrorists hands.

Many other countries, including the US, back other nations in "questionable" actions also.

not quite the same as outright genocide. and not quite the same as in when we punish such things by banning imports from such nations china is the first to swoop in and take advantage.

Of course not. When oil is not involved or they won't sell it to you, you wouldn't bother with it. Kuwait gets invaded, OMG, lets go save them. Genocide in Bosnia, and you leave it alone. Sudan isn't the first nation, African or not, to experience genocide.

At least the Chinese isn't the cause of a genocide. But with the way Iraq is going, the US may in fact be a catalyst for one there.

i'm sorry, you thinkthey wouldn't sell oil to us if we kept mum on the killings? sorry, money is money and if we were to become amoral like china we wouldn't have any trouble with oil at all. hell send them a few gunships to sweeten the deal and we could probably knock 50 cents off per gallon here. what a deal
