Whatever is cheapest (they're all cheapo Aseteks). They're all about the same at 120mm-140mm. If the price differential isn't too high the NZXT Kraken X40 would be a decent choice.

I read a review of the X40 Kraken, and while it seemed good, the loudness aspect made me worry a bit. I am a guy who values quietness over performance, and the last thing I want is something louder than typical air cooling.

One of the great things about this is you can get a quiet fan. I run fans on both my GTX680 & HD7970 at 800 - 1000 rpm..... very quiet but still runs under 65C overclocked.Yes, you can run a faster fan and get lower temps...your choice. Both have been running great for over a year.

I don't understand what are you saying. Did you change the fan on your liquid cooler?

Hmm, I might actually put the Corsair AF140 fan into use there.
Or I could check what Scythe has to offer. Their 120mm's are awesome, at least those I have in the pc.

Um..absolutely I changed the fans. The Antec 620 controls the fan with a 3 pin connection.
I use fans that max out at 1000 rpm. They are inaudable. That's why both systems run about 65C onder full usage - not counting Furmark(I Don't use).

I will be using a Thermatake Water 2.0 on my R9 290, it's basically the same as the Antec except it doesn't control the fan(s) - and the fans that came with it suck, as do the Antec fans. I'll be trying different PWM fans( I have a bunch here) - I may try push -pull on this card run off the aux 4 pin fan controller on my motherboard at no more than 1000 rpm.

You do have a choice here....

I got 2 of these on a black friday sale here, ~$30 each. As well as the 240mm extreme ed for $50.. Fans do suck, they are too loud for an AIO, but I got a lot of spare fans idling around. Overall the radiator is very impressive if you can slap on a quieter fan.

Are the fans better or worse than the AMD branded AIO selling for ~50 USD?

One problem with those AIOs on a vid card is that you are pretty limited in where you can mount the radiator due to the somewhat short tubes, depending on the case. In a larger case, the rear exhaust fan is your only option. Just something to keep in mind.

Front one is pretty ok I think. Cases usually aren't that long. In my case though, there is the problem of front case doors, which I am reluctant to take off, because the case would look like crap then :D

I have a 600T and just mounted my radiator near the front intake fan. So the fan on the rad is pulling the cooler air from the front intake and it just exhausts into the case. Even with the rad exhausting into my case I didn't notice any increased temps.

It's still worth the money though. Just depends how much time and effort is one willing to put in to make it perform as well as possible.
When I can afford it, I sure as hell am getting one.

Mine is shipping on January 25th. Trying to find a decent AIO now to pair with it. I will post some before and after temps when she is installed.

EDIT - Just bough a Thermaltake Water Extreme 2.0 for a good deal. Should be pretty much overkill, but will fit nicely in the front of my case.
